Simple and healthy. Oats porridge. You can have this daily and never get bored of it. Infinite combinations of fruit, nuts, milk and spices- banana, blueberries, pear, apple, cacao, soy milk, almond milk, cows milk, walnuts, cashews, cinnamon, cardamom, fennel etc. Can be prepared every 3 days. You can sit down while stirring this from time to time if required.
Time to make: 10-15 minutes
Serves: 3
Ingredients:
750mL water (3 cups)
1 cup oats (Woolworths macro quick cooking oats or Red tractor creamy oats)
1 tablespoon (tbsp) oil to prevent sticking
Choice of following: Fruit/sweetener, spices, milk, nuts/
Recipe:
- Into a saucepan add 1 cup of oats and 3 cups of water
- Add oil to prevent sticking and bring to boil
- Once boiling, turn heat down and simmer for 10 minutes
- Separate into 3 portions and add milk, fruit/sweetener, nuts and spices

Woolworths macro rolled oats- 15 minutes
