Have another question? Call or message Ahil directly and he will be happy to help before you book.
Yes. Digestive symptoms such as bloating, discomfort and irregular bowel habits are a common reason people book. Ahil will ask about your history and any tests or diagnoses from your GP or specialist, and will tell you whether acupuncture, herbal medicine or naturopathy is appropriate for you. If you have a diagnosed condition, care is coordinated with your treating doctor.
Pain is one of the most common reasons people visit, particularly in the lower back, neck and shoulders. Acupuncture may help some people manage pain and muscle tension. Results vary from person to person, and Ahil will discuss what is realistic for you at your first visit.
Many people who visit are also under the care of a GP or specialist. Bring a list of your diagnoses, medications and supplements to your first visit. Ahil will tell you honestly whether his care is suitable alongside your current treatment, and will suggest you see your GP first if something needs medical assessment.
Yes. Stress, poor sleep and fatigue are common reasons people book, and acupuncture may help some people manage stress and fatigue. Ahil’s care does not replace mental health care: if you are experiencing anxiety, depression or low mood, please keep working with your GP or mental health professional, and Ahil will coordinate with them where appropriate.
Your plan may combine acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, naturopathy, cupping, gua sha and moxibustion, chosen according to your individual presentation and always discussed with you first.
